We often say: “No one has come back from the dead to tell us what happens there.”
However, Jewish texts and tradition are full of stories of “returnees” or people (rabbis or others) who have seen what happens in the afterlife.
So, should all these texts be taken literally, or are they simply parables meant to help us understand a spiritual message?
Do the numerous testimonies of people who have experienced clinical death and come back to life, or those who have come out of a coma, give us a new understanding of these texts?
And most importantly, in Judaism, is there something after life?
To answer these questions, we interviewed rabbis and kabbalists from France, the United States, and Israel. We also spoke with a doctor, a philosopher, and people who have come back from the dead. We asked them if, according to Judaism and their experiences, there is life after death.
A 3 -part series, broadcast on France 2.
Discovering of the YAMAM, the Israeli police’s anti-terrorist commando unit (equivalent to France’s GIGN or RAID), through the portrait of its iconic figure: Pascal Abrahami; the hero of the YAMAM (of French origin), the oldest Israeli combatant in service, highly decorated and killed in action in August 2011.
To tell his story, former and current commanders and fighters of this secret unit have agreed, for the first time, to speak (with masked faces) in front of a camera.
Their accounts, along with those of the grieving family, describe the life, specifics, and dangers of working in this elite unit, which carries out more than 110 missions per year.

We follow the rabbis as they visit villages, meet with chiefs, priests, and Danite sorcerers. Most importantly, we witness the “reunion” of the two peoples; a true clash of cultures.
Part 2: THE DAN OF MAN
The second part is more scientific. It delves into their history and their rites, which are similar to Jewish rites.
With interviews from historians, anthropologists, and various specialists, this episode attempts to answer the questions raised in the first part, particularly explaining “who are the Danites of Côte d’Ivoire?”
The fate of Michael, the last survivor of the Koretz ghetto in Belarus.
Upon the arrival of the Nazis, Michael fled into the forest to join the Partisans, then the Red Army, where he became a hero before immigrating to Israel and participating in the country's War of Independence.
Despite such a past, he now lives in poverty in Jerusalem.
The Temple of Jerusalem in Côte d'Ivoire
"What do Ivorians have to do with the Temple of Jerusalem?" some may wonder. Indeed, questions and jests arose about the Historical Center of the Temple (the French-speaking section of the Temple Institute of Jerusalem) following the announcement of its exhibition "3000 Years of History of the Temple of Jerusalem" at the Grand Museum of Abidjan, from February 9 to 28, 2010.
It was the first time since the Queen of Sheba that the Temple of Jerusalem had been represented on the African continent. An historic event on the occasion of the celebrations of the country’s jubilee, which drew tens of thousands of visitors, some of whom did not hesitate to travel 700 km to make the pilgrimage... in Abidjan!
A fascinating and moving documentary.

“QUMRAN, in SEARCH of the TREASURE of WADI HAKIPAH”
In 1952, two French archaeologists discovered a sealed copper scroll in a cave at Qumran. It took three years of efforts by researchers at the University of Manchester to open it. The scroll actually describes the treasure of the Temple of Jerusalem. The text concludes by stating that a second scroll contains the measurements needed to locate the 64 hiding places where the Temple's treasure was distributed. This scroll is said to be buried near a cemetery at the foot of Wadi Hakipah (the Arabic name for the Qumran site). Since then, "the copper scroll of Wadi Hakipah" has continued to inspire dreams among the most famous archaeologists…
A team of American, Israeli, and French researchers will dig to find this "hidden chamber" and the scroll it is supposed to contain…
Filmmaker David Szerman followed this team on their adventure in search of the Temple treasure. He filmed their efforts and the resources deployed for this search, as well as their hopes, discoveries, doubts, and disappointments… From this experience emerged *QUMRAN: IN SEARCH OF THE TREASURE OF WADI HAKIPAH*, an exceptional document reminiscent of *Indiana Jones* or *National Treasure*, but with the atmosphere of an initiatory quest and with real-life characters searching for a treasure lost for 2,000 years—a symbol of Israel's faith.
For the director, "more than just a treasure hunt or an archaeological documentary, this film is above all a human and mystical adventure, as well as a fable about the pursuit of dreams…"

THE HAND OF GOD
IN HUMAN HISTORY
The return of the people of Israel to their land is neither a coincidence nor an accident of history. It is the result of a long process that began more than 2,000 years ago when the Jews were expelled from their land. This return was foretold 25 centuries ago by the prophets.
Here, Pastor Claude Duvernoy and Rabbi Jean-Marc Rosenfeld of Temple Institute of Jerusalem recount this return, illustrated by numerous anecdotes that continually remind us of the omnipresence of God in human history.
